BEVI strengthens its position as a leading partner in generator refurbishment

This week, BEVI successfully completed the final tests on the hydropower generator that has undergone an extensive full refurbishment over the past six months. The work has included a completely new core pack and new high-voltage windings.

The generator is manufactured by Elektromekano, with a specification of 1500 kVA, 300 rpm and 6300 V.

As part of the final inspection, the following tests were carried out:

• Tan δ and capacitance measurement
• Partial discharge (PD) measurement
• High-voltage test according to 2 × Un + 1 kV

All tests demonstrated excellent results, and the project now moves on to reassembly before the unit is installed on site within the coming days.
